italian-dragon84 - Yellow Eve (2025 Remaster) — Important Clarification

Posted by LakieGD - 3 days ago

Hello, everyone. Lakie here.

I’d like to raise awareness about the track “Yellow Eve (2025 Remaster)” recently uploaded by @italian-dragon84.

This track is being presented as a personal remaster — possibly as a comeback after a long absence — but after careful listening and investigation, it turns out that the audio was generated using the AI tool Suno, most likely through its “cover” feature. The guitar, drums, and overall sound are clearly AI-produced and not manually recorded, mixed, or arranged.

Nowhere in the description does the artist mention the use of AI, obviously. This omission leads listeners to believe that this is a legitimate remaster, created through traditional means. That’s misleading.

For the record:

  • The track is not a real remaster
  • The sounds are AI-generated and not the result of personal musical production
  • The artist has publicly linked their real name (Matt Maiorano) and personal website, adding to the illusion of legitimate authorship

Let me be clear: using AI to experiment or reimagine music is not inherently wrong. But when someone publishes an AI-generated track and passes it off as their own handcrafted work, it’s a problem — especially on a platform that values genuine artistic effort.

This is not a call for harassment. It’s a call for honesty, especially from those who present themselves as returning creators.

Thanks for reading.

Thanks to @VeryInactive01 for have made me aware of it!

Edit: It seems like he deleted his account. Well, I guess it’s one less opponent!

One of the first big AI uploaders I witnessed was an older user coming back with AI-generated slop. It's painful to see. Also, "italian-dragon84" is already gone, so I don't think it mattered to them anyway.

Yeah, I understand where you’re coming from, @Quest.
It can definitely feel disappointing when returning users post AI-generated content with little personal touch, especially if they used to create their own work before.

At the same time, I think it’s good to stay focused on the people who are still here making things with care and intention, such as G2961, Xtrullor, Waterflame or whatever — whether it’s with or without AI. Everyone’s approach is different, but I believe effort and sincerity still stand out.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

appreciate ur raising awareness of this, but I believe this would be better if it was sent directly to the moderators instead, or to tomfulp himself.

Thanks for your input, @Ropender — I totally understand your point.
I mainly shared this as a public message to raise awareness within the community, but you’re right: reaching out directly to the moderators or Tom might be more effective for action. I’ll definitely keep that in mind for the future.

Appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

geez he deleted his account so fast before by the time you ping him, i was expecting he would do a last resort by putting a apology on the movie portal. now that hes gone, it wont be easy finding him again. heres a advice: if you pin a user with this: @, they will see the notification and thats where they go delete their account to evade trouble. so next time if it happens again, try not to use that @ from your opponent.

Thanks for the insight, @Platzsoldier — I hadn’t really thought about it that way.
I used the “@” mostly to document what was going on and raise awareness, but yeah… I can see how that might push someone to disappear quickly to avoid accountability.
Next time I’ll definitely be more careful about that.

Appreciate the advice. I’ll consider it.

Why couldn't he just apologize and move on , instead of removing his own account? So childish.. =/

Yeah, I know, @Notmyfault09, I get why it seems childish — but honestly, I think he knew what he was doing.
He probably realized his music wouldn’t be well received, and still went ahead and posted it anyway. Maybe deleting his account was his way of accepting the fallout, in his own quiet way.

It’s not the best way to handle things, sure, but I don’t think it was done out of pure immaturity. More like: “I did what I came to do, I know the risks, now I’m out.”

Still kind of a sad ending though.
